Sri Lanka's scorching sun, swirling dust, and heavy monsoon rain, demand that the exterior walls of homes be repainted every 3 years. Used as a heat reflection solution, every 2 of 3 homeowners paint their homes in White exterior emulsion paint. As a result, 85% of the market sales in the paint industry accounted for White Emulsion paint, dominated by 5 multinational brands.
White by JAT aims to disrupt the market by introducing 8 years of colour protection technology that guarantees the durability of the white emulsion paint for 8 years. This became an ideal solution for Sri Lankans given the current state of worsened inflation and skyrocketing prices.
This campaign created awareness of the new unique selling point (USP) of durability and effectively converted people using digital media.
